Hong Kong — Nepal delivered a dominant performance to crush India by 92 runs in the Bowl League of the Hong Kong Sixes Cricket Tournament. After falling short of the Cup Final race, the Nepali side bounced back with confidence, showcasing power-hitting and sharp bowling to secure a comprehensive win.

Batting first, Nepal made an explosive start and finished on 137 runs without losing a wicket. Rashid Khan led the charge with a blistering 55 off just 17 balls, smashing four fours and six sixes before retiring hurt. Sandeep Jora followed with an impressive 47 from 12 balls, hammering four boundaries and five sixes, while Lokesh Bam added a quick 31 off seven balls, including one four and four sixes.

India’s reply never took shape. Facing fierce bowling from Nepal, the Indian team was bundled out for only 45 runs in three overs. Rashid Khan, already the hero with the bat, starred again with the ball, grabbing three wickets in a single over. Basir Ahmad picked up two wickets and Rupesh Singh claimed one to complete the demolition.

For India, Bharat Chipli and Priyank Panchal were the top scorers with 12 runs each, while captain Dinesh Karthik and Shahbaz Nadeem contributed seven apiece. Stuart Binny departed without scoring.

Earlier, Nepal had lost its first Bowl League match against Sri Lanka. The Bowl League includes teams knocked out from the main Cup League, with the top two sides advancing to the final.
