Dhading – Two male bodies were discovered along separate sections of the Trishuli River in Dhading district on Monday morning, prompting concern among local residents and authorities.
According to the District Police Office, one body was found in the Kyarenitar area of Galchhi Rural Municipality–2, while the other was located near Belkhu in Gajuri Rural Municipality–6. Preliminary assessments suggest both victims are adult males.
“The condition of the bodies and the circumstances at the scene indicate that the deaths likely occurred recently,” a police spokesperson said. “A police team has already been deployed to the sites for further investigation.”
Authorities have not yet confirmed the identities of the deceased or determined how the bodies came to rest along the riverbank. With assistance from local residents, efforts are underway to identify the victims and investigate the background of the incident.
Police have secured the areas where the bodies were found, and the investigation is ongoing.
