Durga Prasai, coordinator of the Campaign for Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, and Citizen Protection, announced he would reform himself and sought public cooperation. He denied being a rebel, thanked Mayor Balen Shah, reflected on his Maoist ties, and clarified bank and electricity payment allegations.
The Kathmandu District Court has set a hearing date for the organized extortion case involving Durga Prasai, Harichandra Phuyal, and Ramchandra Mainali. Police continue investigations into the case.
