KAILALI, — The Federal Democratic Alliance will hold a special public awareness campaign in Kailali this Sunday, with preparations now complete. The Alliance, made up of seven Terai–Madhesh-based political parties, has been running a series of events across Nepal, and the Kailali program is part of that ongoing effort.
Purna Basnet, head of the publicity department of the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Nepal, said the campaign will encourage open discussion on the country’s current political situation, the need for forming the Alliance, and the reasoning behind its creation.
The Citizens’ Liberation Party is handling local coordination for the Kailali event. Organizers describe the campaign as a platform to build political awareness and unity among citizens.
The Alliance’s next program is scheduled for 1 september in Biratnagar, to be led by JSP Nepal. Leaders say these initiatives are aimed at shaping political perspectives from the grassroots level to the national stage.
