Arju Rana Deuba Calls for Unity in Nepali Congress Ahead of 15th General Convention

Foreign Minister Arju Rana Deuba calls on Nepali Congress members to prioritize party unity over personal ambitions. Speaking at a Kaski meeting, she stresses healthy competition and cooperation ahead of the upcoming 15th general convention.

kathmandu – Arju Rana Deuba, Foreign Minister and senior leader of Nepali Congress, has asked everyone in the party not to let personal interests cause confusion or fights. At a party meeting in Pokhara, she said it’s okay to compete a little, but it should never break the party’s unity or strength.

She reminded everyone that Nepali Congress isn’t a place to chase personal goals. It’s a place to work for the country and its people. She also spoke highly of the party’s founders—Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala, Ganeshman Singh, and Krishna Prasad Bhattarai—and told everyone to follow their example.

“Making the party stronger depends on how we all behave and speak,” she said. “If we stick together, the party will stay strong and do great things.”

She said the upcoming 15th general convention will have different groups competing, but that should never split the party. She believes the party will get stronger if everyone respects each other and works together.

Talking about social media, she said the party should use it in a good way to share positive messages. “If we guide our young people well, fewer will leave the country, and more opportunities will be created here,” she said.

Finally, she spoke about the challenges Nepal is facing. She asked everyone to stop focusing on negative things and instead think positive and take action. She’s sure that this positive attitude will help both Nepali Congress and Nepal move forward.
