A tragic incident occurred in Gujarat’s Vadodara district as a bridge over the Gambhira River collapsed, resulting in the confirmed deaths of nine people and injuries to several others.
At the time of the collapse, five vehicles were on the bridge and fell into the river. Some of the vehicles have been recovered by rescue teams, while operations continue to locate the remaining ones. Local authorities, the fire department, police, and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been deployed to the site.

The injured are being treated at a nearby hospital, with some reported to be in critical condition. The incident has raised serious concerns over the safety of public infrastructure, with both local and national media calling on the government to take full accountability.
