Kathmandu — The escalating tensions between Israel and Iran have raised serious concerns about regional security. Both sides have continued to launch missile and drone attacks on each other, causing significant damage to civilians and military targets alike.
Iranian President Masoud Pajeskian has warned of stronger retaliatory measures if Israeli attacks do not cease. Meanwhile, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard issued a statement detailing their Saturday night attack on Israeli weapons depots, reportedly using three cruise missiles, ten drones, and dozens of hostile micro UAVs. Local media reported that oil facilities in Tel Aviv and Haifa were also targeted.
On the other hand, Israel struck Iran’s Ministry of Defense and oil depots. The attacks have resulted in at least three deaths and over 40 injuries. International media confirmed that one person was killed in the Iranian strike on Tel Aviv, while two others died in central Israel.
Diplomatic Setbacks Amid Ongoing Conflict
In response, Iran launched ballistic missiles and rockets on key cities including Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Additionally, Iran has issued warnings to the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, threatening attacks on their military bases should they assist Israel or try to neutralize Iranian actions.
Amid these hostilities, the nuclear talks scheduled between the U.S. and Iran on Sunday were postponed, posing a setback to diplomatic efforts. This ongoing conflict has once again become a source of global concern and threatens to undermine the fragile peace process.
